USER EXPERIENCE
The Kate Spade Defensive Hardshell Case for MagSafe comes in a simple retail-style box. The front of the box is translucent and you can see the case inside the box. The box doesn’t have a lot of details on it other than the name of the case and the phone size it is designed for. The bottom of the box pulls out like a drawer so that you can pull the case out. There is a folded card inside the box that describes a little bit about Kate Spade designer items but doesn’t really say anything specific about the case.
The case is a hardshell case, but the sides are pliable so it’s easy to install the phone into the case. The back of the case is hard and very firm. It also has a built-in magnet for MagSafe compatibility. The buttons are easy to press and the cutout for the camera has a raised bezel for protection. The design I got is mostly clear with some large flowers printed on it. there is some glitter in the inner part of the flower, but the designs are printed inside the case so the glitter doesn’t come out.
The design of the case is stylish and simple, but not gaudy in any way. I would say that it is more feminine in style because of its lighter colors and flowery motif. It is a very sturdy case.
